Folders are where your saved links live. Think of them as shelves: one for design inspiration, one for recipes, one for that trip you're planning. You can make as many as you like.
Creating a folder
In the sidebar, find the Library section and click New. Give your folder a name, and it appears in your Library, ready for links.
You can also create a folder on the fly while saving a link — no need to set everything up in advance.
Adding links to folders
Every link you save can go straight into a folder — pick one in the save window, in the browser extension, or later when editing a link. Items from your feeds and inboxes can be saved into folders too, so the article that arrived by RSS and the link a friend sent you can end up on the same shelf.
Choosing how a folder looks
Every folder can be viewed as a list, compact list, or grid — use the view switcher in the title bar to pick. Pincone remembers your choice per folder, so your image-heavy inspiration folder can be a grid while your reading list stays a tidy list.
Renaming and cleaning up
Open a folder and use the ••• menu in the title bar to rename or delete it. Deleting a folder is a bigger decision than deleting a link, so Pincone will ask you to confirm first.
A folder is not a label
Folders answer "where does this live?" — each shelf holds its own things. Labels answer "what is this about?" and one link can have many of them. They work great together; see Using Labels.
