The browser extension is the fastest way to get things into Pincone: you're reading something good, you click the pin, it's saved. No copying URLs, no switching tabs.
Installing
Grab the extension for your browser from our Browser Extensions page:
- Chrome, Brave, and Edge — install from the Chrome Web Store (all three browsers use the same extension).
- Firefox — install from Firefox Add-ons.
- Safari — not yet, sorry! A Safari extension is in the works. Until it arrives, Safari folks can save by copying a link and pasting it into the new-link window — two clicks instead of one.
After installing, click the Pincone icon and log in with your Pincone account. Pinning the extension to your browser's toolbar is worth the extra two seconds — that's what makes it one click.
Saving a page
On any page you want to keep, click the Pincone icon. The page's details are filled in for you — pick a folder, add labels if you like, and save. The page lands in your Pincone without you ever leaving the tab.
If something's not working
- Can't log in? Double-check your email and password by logging in at pincone.com first.
- The button does nothing on a certain page? Some browser pages (like settings screens and the web store itself) don't allow extensions to run — that's the browser's rule, not ours.
- Still stuck? Email us at support@pincone.com and a human will help you out.
