Pincone doesn't ask you to memorize fifty shortcuts. There's a small set, and they're all about getting somewhere fast.
Search, three ways
The search window is the center of keyboard life in Pincone, and it answers to three keys:
- Cmd+K (Ctrl+K on Windows) — the classic.
- / — the one-keystroke version.
- j — for jumping, if your fingers grew up on keyboard-first apps.
From there, type to find any folder, feed, inbox, or label, hit Enter, and you're there. Everything else search can do is covered in Finding Anything with Search.
Getting around
- T — jump to the Timeline from anywhere.
- Esc — closes whatever's open: search, menus, dialogs. (One quirk: if your cursor is inside a text field, Esc stays out of the way so it doesn't eat your typing.)
Where to spot them
You don't have to remember any of this — the shortcuts are written right on the interface. The sidebar shows the key next to Timeline and Search, and they adapt to your platform: Mac users see ⌘K, everyone else sees Ctrl K.
