We're a bookmarking app, not a marketing machine — you won't drown. Here's exactly what lands in your inbox and how to turn it off.
What we send
- The essentials: account activation, password resets, "your bookmark import finished" — the emails that are part of Pincone working. These can't be turned off, because without them things break.
- The optional stuff: our occasional newsletter and product emails — the "how's it going?" and "here's what's new" variety. Rare, human, and entirely skippable.
Unsubscribing
Every optional email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click, and it turns off all newsletters and product emails — it's a single master switch, not a maze of checkboxes where "transactional promotional updates" stays mysteriously checked. Changed your mind? The same page lets you resubscribe.
A note on newsletter inboxes
Unsubscribing from Pincone's emails has nothing to do with the newsletters flowing into your Pincone inboxes — those are subscriptions between you and their publishers. To stop one of those, use the unsubscribe link in that newsletter's own issues.
